Did you know that forest air contains 90% fewer dust particles than city air and reduces stress? In the unspoiled nature reserve, you can hear birdsong, rustling leaves and perhaps even spot rare animals such as the gray-headed woodpecker, kingfisher, deer, wild boar or beaver. It starts at the sports center, leads via Schmieding to the chapel and then to the Fuchsenm\u00fchle mill, which still grinds with water power today. If you like, you can make a detour to the hammer mill. Then it&#8217;s back via Fuchsbauer, Furital and Sperl. The route is 6.8 km long with an elevation gain of 165 meters. The start is steep: via W\u00fcrzenberg you reach the legendary Maunzgraben, named after the Maunzteufel, half man, half animal. You will find a replica in the village center. The route then continues to the Doppelalm and via Dorfeilten towards Obertum am See. You then cycle downhill via Hohengarten to Anthering. In total, you master around 300 meters in altitude.
