Back then…

The SonnenMoor farm was founded in 1972 by Franz and Anna Fink. After returning from the Second World War, Franz suffered from health problems, but the prescribed medication caused such severe side effects that he had to stop taking it. Fortunately, he was able to draw on a wealth of knowledge about medicinal herbs and managed to successfully treat his ailments himself.

A few years later, Franz took a job as a representative for healing moor products and made a name for himself with his good intuition and in-depth knowledge of the healing powers of nature.

Building on his success, Franz submitted a business license for the production of healing moor and herbal products. The foundation stone for the SonnenMoor company was laid. Together with his wife Anna and the help of their three children, he expanded their product range and soon they were selling their products not only to private customers, but also to pharmacies, doctors, therapists, alternative practitioners, specialist pet retailers and animal breeders.

… and today

Under the leadership of Walter Wieland, the SonnenMoor team now comprises around 55 employees, and as the company is constantly growing, there is always room for new employees. At the moment, for example, SonnenMoor is looking for applicants for the shipping, IT and EDP departments. Of course, it is particularly important that candidates are interested in natural remedies and can identify with the company philosophy.

In addition to the Krämerei in Anthering, there has also been a SonnenMoor store in Salzburg since September, right in the city center, very close to Mirabell Palace. Interested customers can get advice on the variety of SonnenMoor products from the competent staff and even taste some of the natural products. Feel free to drop by during opening hours!
