SonnenMoor stands for natural remedies made from peat and herbs – carefully tailored to the needs of humans and animals. The products are based on special formulas made from regional raw materials, without any artificial additives. There is a clear philosophy behind this: to develop tradition and at the same time think modern in order to promote quality of life in a natural way.

The many satisfied customers who have been relying on SonnenMoor for years and are delighted with the effect of the products show that this approach is convincing.

Back then …

SonnenMoor was founded in 1972 by Franz and Anna Fink. After the Second World War, Franz suffered from health problems that were exacerbated by medication. However, his knowledge of medicinal herbs helped him to alleviate his ailments naturally.

He later worked as a representative for healing moor products and quickly made a name for himself with his understanding of the power of nature. Eventually, he registered a business license for the production of his own peat and herbal products – the beginning of SonnenMoor. Together with his wife Anna and their three children, he continued to expand the range. Soon the products were being sold not only to private customers, but also to pharmacies, doctors, therapists, alternative practitioners and specialist pet retailers.

… and today

Today, SonnenMoor is managed by Walter Wieland and has around 55 employees – and the team is still growing. We are currently looking for people for the shipping, IT and EDP departments. The most important thing is an interest in natural remedies and an enthusiasm for the company philosophy.

Since September, the Krämerei in Anthering has been joined by another store in the center of Salzburg, very close to Mirabell Palace. There you can get personal advice and even taste some products directly. Feel free to drop by during opening hours.
