Daniela and Florian had long wanted to set up something of their own. When they were given the opportunity to revive a small disused farm, it was clear that this was their path. Today, they live and work there in harmony with nature and their animals – and that is exactly what makes them happy. The fact that they also earn a living from it is almost just a nice side effect for them.
Their hens live in mobile barns, a wonderful form of species-appropriate husbandry. This allows Daniela and Florian to sell their fresh organic eggs directly on the farm. You can also buy various types of organic spelt pasta at Schneidergütl.
Organic, animal-friendly – and visible to all
Awareness of organic farming is constantly growing, and customers at Schneidergütl also attach great importance to animal welfare. One look at the meadow next to the self-service farm store is enough: The chickens are grazing right in front of you. For many, this is a little highlight every time – and a reason to come back. The excellent quality of the products does the rest.
How to find the farm store
The self-service farm store is located above the farm in Würzenberg, right next to the road. Behind it, you can see the chicken mobile standing in the pasture – sometimes here, sometimes there, because it is moved on every week so that the animals always have fresh greenery.
