Bakery Schmidhuber
Outstanding products made from regional ingredients without any baking mixes – that is the philosophy behind the Schmidhuber bakery. Incidentally, the family business has been around since 1712 and is now run by Christian Schmidhuber in the 10th generation.
The team now comprises a total of 11 employees. Christian is particularly proud of the fact that, despite the difficult working hours – the bakery works from 01:30 in the morning – there is good team spirit among the employees and the cooperation is very harmonious.


Of course, this is also reflected in the quality of the baked goods produced! All breads at the Schmidhuber bakery are made from pure natural sourdough and are characterized by their wonderful taste and excellent shelf life. It just goes to show that the hard work behind every bread roll bears fruit!
To keep up with the increasing popularity, Christian is always on the lookout for bakers and confectioners to join the team. Apprentices are also welcome at the Schmidhuber bakery – the only important thing is that you are an early riser or a night owl! Future plans
But things also remain exciting outside Anthering: the renovation of the Bürmoos branch is currently being planned. It is to be upgraded with a café including ice cream production and a large outdoor area.

Lake Luginger and Lake Ragginger are an attractive destination all year round – Christian thinks so, and we can only agree with him wholeheartedly!
