Antheringer Schaukelweg: the perfect excursion destination for the whole family
For variety, fun & action!
Our swing trail has attracted many families from near and far to Anthering in recent years, because hiking here is great fun for the whole family! Fun and variety are provided by the fun swing stations: Here, children can ride on “wild horses”, conquer a “pirate barge” or test their strength on “Hercules”.
Together with the little ones, parents can relax on the Hollywood swing or in the bird’s nest. Of course, there are also plenty of rest stops so that all hikers can really enjoy their time in nature and have something to eat in between.
The Anthering swing trail in detail
The Anthering swing trail starts and ends at the Anthering kindergarten at Schmiedingerstraße 3. There are also plenty of parking spaces available here. In total, the Anthering swing trail is around 4 km long (there and back) and has 6 varied swing stations along the way. It is particularly suitable for children of kindergarten and primary school age, but can also be used with all-terrain baby carriages.
By the way, if you have the time and a bit of stamina, you can of course combine both trails! Comfortable seating offers adults a breather while the children swing.
After the hike, Anthering’s restaurants offer plenty of opportunities to quench your hunger and thirst.
