Your journey to Anthering near Salzburg
Anthering is located only six kilometers north of the festival city of Salzburg, in the gentle Alpine foothills. Thanks to its proximity to the highway, the airport and the main train station, you can reach the town in just a few minutes – whether you are traveling by car, train or plane.
Arrival by car
If you are coming from the south via the A1 (Westautobahn), take the new Bergheim West exit towards Braunau. Coming from the north, take the Salzburg Nord exit. Simply follow the B156 main road – and you will be in Anthering in less than ten minutes.
Arrival by train
After arriving at Salzburg Central Station, go one floor down to the local train station. From there, the Salzburger Lokalbahn runs every half hour directly to Anthering.
Journey time: around 15 minutes.

Arrival by plane
From Salzburg Airport Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, it is about 15 kilometers to Anthering via the city highway – a short journey that you can easily cover by taxi, shuttle or rental car.
